Helichrysum hydrosol is an essential addition to your medicine cabinet.
Use it to clean wounds and as a compress for bruises. It is indicated for scarring acne, sunburn, couperose skin, eczema and psoriasis, as well as for inflammatory, allergic skin diseases. It balances the nervous system and is useful in times of shock, especially in children.
The regenerative properties of the Helichrysum have been known since ancient times. Helichrysum oil accelerates recovery in the case of sprains, sprains, pain in tendons, muscles.
It strengthens the body’s defences, which allows it to be used as an immunostimulant. It is considered a rejuvenating agent that stimulates cell growth, promotes tissue repair, energizes organs, and generally cleanses the meridians – energy channels that penetrate the body. Particularly in France, Helichrysum essential oil is marketed as an anti-ageing miracle oil and is known as the “fountain of youth” in a bottle. Of the more than 500 species of helichrysum, only one is used in medical aromatherapy – italicum. The best Helichrysum italicum comes from Corsica off the coast of France.
NOTE:
Hydrosols should not be stored in the refrigerator. They like a cool, stable environment and temperature fluctuations disturb them. If you do refrigerate yours, or if it is exposed to extreme temperatures, bring your hydrosol to room temperature gradually and gently.
